Artist Statement:

There is a romantic inclination or temper that underlies my approach to jewelry making and to life. I fabricate jewelry with an honest respect for the innate nature of the materials. Noble metals and gemstones display strong qualities of order and structure guiding my sense of attention and driving my admiration for the craft. There is also chaos in the process that incites my respect for the material. I strive for finished work that emulates the blend of chaos and order.
